They may be smaller, but young riders still need the same safety features from a helmet that their parents are getting. Closely resembling the adult Quarter MIPS helmet, Giro´s Dime MIPS Helmet makes sure young riders look the part while staying safe.

With an ABS plastic outer layer for surrounding an inner EPS foam layer, the Dime is no lighter on the protection than the Quarter. Like it´s adult counterpart, it also includes polyurethane reinforcement on the EVA foam, as well as removable Fit Kit foam pads. It´s now available with added MIPS technology in the form of a thin inner layer that rotates in the event of impact to minimize damage from rotational forces. Eight vents keep kids cool, with two size options for getting the right fit.
