The standard flat-mount disc brake caliper features 22mm pistons in phenolic resin, designed to deliver powerful stopping power at a moment´s notice. Between the pad and the piston is a metal plate that cushions the vibrations we feel during braking, and the pads feature wear indicators to ensure we know exactly when to replace them.
