Shimano´s new XTR, XT, and SLX 12-speed Hyperglide+ chains operate differently than traditional designs and thus require a special chainring to work properly. Being the problem solvers that they are, Wolf Tooth´s engineers took the time to understand how the system works and designed a completely new tooth profile that provides optimal chain retention and durability with this new system. The Shimano 12-Speed Direct-Mount Chainring is made specifically for Shimano XTR M9100 series cranks, providing riders with the quiet and smooth performance of the HG+ drivetrain combined with the legendary chain retention of Wolf Tooth chainrings.
