We took the already high-performing Cervelo Aspero gravel bike, added a few of our favorite components, and created the Aspero SC GRX 820 1x Carbon Wheel Exclusive Gravel Bike to take us further and faster than ever imaginable. Built for riding on mixed terrain at high speeds, the Aspero frame has a unique geometry that looks more like a road bike but performs like a gravel grinder. We see reduced toe overlap and increased stability with a steep head tube angle, shorter stem, and longer top tube. The frame features a slimmed downtube profile to improve compliance and a lowered standover height to make getting on and off our bikes more effortless than ever. Our Selle Italia Novus Boost EVO TI 316 Superflow saddle is supported by the Cervelo Alloy seatpost for unmatched durability that stands up to the bumpy terrain we love riding over.

On this Aspero, we are in full control of the Shimano GRX 820 1 x 12-speed drivetrain, which is Shimano’s first-ever gravel-specific groupset designed to provide the rider with reliable shifting, trustworthy braking, and an overall smooth ride on mixed surfaces. With the 40t chainring and 10-51t cassette range, we have ample gearing ratios to tackle huge climbs and downhill sprints. The carbon Shimano GRX RX880 tubeless disc wheelset, complete with Vittoria Terreno Dry G2.0 tubeless tires, is optimized for high-speed gravel riding with its lightweight construction and low-profile design.
