Dialing in our layering system can become an obsession. We always try to ensure we have enough warmth without adding too much bulk weighing us down. That´s why we´re loving the new Backcountry Peale Primaloft Stitch-Free Baffle Stretch Vest, which packs lightweight Primaloft Silver insulation into an incredibly slim profile. The stitch-free baffles ensure a low profile and reduce fiber migration, so the insulation stays evenly distributed across our body while we move. We also gave the vest plenty of stretch, so we can move freely while we´re in the mountains, and a PFC-free DWR finish that repels any moisture that might sneak in beneath our outer layers.
