The Zionic WP hiking boot takes KEEN in a fresh direction with a lightweight build and a more athletic fit for fast hikers with little weight on our backs. For those of us who like to fly down the trail, the Zionic has a more streamlined profile and features lightweight mesh uppers and lightweight cushioning to meet our need for speed. At the same time, it adds a full-length stability shank for lightweight foot support and lateral stability and a waterproof and breathable lining to get us out on the trail in all types of weather. The Zionic still has a generous toe box, but it also has a more contoured fit that feels more athletic than traditional KEEN hiking boots.
