This hybrid approach shoe/hiking boot features plenty of foot protection with its leather uppers, mid-cut support, and rubber rand and toe cap while its climb-oriented Vibram Megagrip outsoles showcase shallow lugs and extra bite in the heel for better rock scrambling and braking on steep descents. The "Evo" designation refers to more environmentally friendly materials, including PFC-free GORE-TEX ePE waterproofing and recycled materials in the laces, lining, rand, and toe cap.
