The QuickConnect System allows us to disconnect the tube for easy cleaning or to install a water filter when in the backcountry The Hydrapak Blaster bite valve has a fast water flow with an on/off switch, so there is no leaking and a magnetic clip-on the hose that pairs with a magnetic clip on the shoulder strap keeps our hose and bite valve in place. Finally, Hydrostatic Backerplate gives the reservoir structure when filled to make installing it in a pack easier.
