Inspired by the idea of surfers painting white stripes on their black wetsuits because sharks have difficulty identifying colors, Cynthia Rowley followed suit and created the Shark Deterrent Spring Wetsuit. The stretchy, lightweight neoprene blend keeps us comfortable in mild waters, while the black and white banding plays with sharks´ recognition of shapes in an effort to disrupt their vision and leave them confused to give us some added peace of mind.
