This locking ´biner gives us extra security at a low pre-crux bolt or on traverses, greatly minimizing the risk of our rope becoming unclipped during a fall. We simply slide our thumb down the gate to open it and then let go for it to lock automatically, offering a single-handed use while leading that might not be as quick as a wire gate but is well worth that extra second when entering a sketchy section.
