Built with input from our Gearheads, the Backcountry Runoff 2.5L Rain Jacket does the three most important things we ask of our rain shells. It keeps us dry with a waterproof Pertex membrane, DWR-treated face fabric, and fully sealed seams. It also keeps us from overheating with high levels of breathability and the added ventilation in the shell´s front, back, and sides. Finally, the jacket packs down easily into its chest pocket, which converts into a convenient carrying pouch we can stuff neatly into our backpack when the sun comes out.
