Why We Like The Cervelo Aspero SC Apex XPLR AXS Carbon Wheel Exclusive Gravel Bike

We liked Cervelo´s Aspero so much we decided to build an exclusive setup with the Aspero SC Apex XPLR AXS Carbon Wheel Exclusive Gravel Bike. Designed for high-speed mixed-terrain racing and riding, this gravel grinder looks more like a road bike than a gravel bike thanks to its aerodynamic geometry that places us in a fast, powerful position. However, it features plenty of adaptations to make this bike truly excel on the gravel course, including a slimmed downtube profile for increased compliance and improved chainring clearance, to name a few. The full carbon construction and tapered Cervelo All-Carbon fork offer a smooth, vibration-absorbing ride, so we added an alloy seatpost to increase durability so we can ride over even rougher terrain with confidence.

To keep up with our speedy riding habits, this setup comes fully loaded with the SRAM Apex XPLR AXS 1 x 12-speed drivetrain. Shifting between a 40t chainring and a 10-44t cassette, we will always have a gear for the next big climb or sprint to the finish line. The XPLR AXS wireless shifting performance is efficient and reliable, providing smooth gear progression and precise shifts no matter where we are on our ride. For optimal rolling efficiency, stability, and aerodynamics, we added the Reynolds G700 Carbon Disc Wheelset to this already fast setup, along with Vittoria Terreno Dry G2.0 tubeless tires to eliminate trailside maintenance.
