Why We Like The Santa Cruz Skitch CC GX Eagle AXS Transmission Flat Bar e-Bike

Wherever we are going, we like to get there fast and in style, which is why the Santa Cruz Skitch is at the top of our list when we need a lightweight and efficient ride over a capable brawler. The Skitch is the newest edition to Santa Cruz´s lineup and is an electric gravel bike that is the powered version of Santa Cruz´s new Stigmata gravel bike. The Skitch has a lightweight Fauza60 drive system that keeps the weight to a minimum while still providing us all-day power, giving us a 430Wh battery, 28mph top speed, and around a 100-kilometer range. Three individual drive modes allow us to get the perfect power for our terrain, and each mode can be customized in the Fauza app for complete personalization. With a super quick 3.5-hour charge time, we don´t have to worry about charging our bike the night before, and the compact design is so efficient it provides the same range as a full-power e-MTB but at a much lighter weight. Progressive geometry keeps us capable and under control when the adventure takes us off-road but isn´t too slack that we lose sight of our precision handling. 700c tires give us tons of efficiency and straight-line speed, and a 50mm tire clearance allows us to run wider tires for more traction when the road turns to dirt.

The GX Eagle Transmission AXS Flat Bar build of the Santa Cruz Skitch gives us a premium electronic drivetrain, flat MTB handlebars for more off-road capability, and quality components that we are stoked to throw a leg over any day. Every build of the Skitch features Santa Cruz´s top-tier Carbon CC frame for a super lightweight and stiff frame as well as a RockShox fork to keep the weight to an absolute minimum. SRAM´s GX Eagle Transmission AXS drivetrain provides flawless electronic shifting, near indestructible components, and the ability to shift under load. Easton ARC Offset 25 rims paired with DT Swiss 370 hubs give us a super durable and quality wheelset that is ready to take on any adventure, and SRAM´s new Level, Silver Stealth 2-piston brakes give us tons of stopping power without the extra weight. For uncompromising speed and rolling efficiency, every build of the Skitch is fitted with Schwalbe G-One Overland Evo, 700 x 50c tires, allowing us to maintain our speed whether we are on the dirt or asphalt. Finally, SRAM´s Atmos Flat Bar gives us a more upright pedaling position, so we are just as capable of riding around town as on the trails.
