When winter shows its icy teeth, we keep up with our training routine by breaking out the Icebug Arcus 2 BUGrip GTX Running Shoe, which comes with some fangs of its own. The BUGrip outsole features 13 dynamic steel studs that allow us to run along slick, icy trails with confidence, and the grippy rubber offers even more support for mixed conditions. The thick EVA midsole provides plentiful cushioning, with a slightly rockered shape to reduce pressure on our forefoot and heel while promoting a smooth, natural stride, and the 6mm drop relieves stress from our calves so we can run for miles. The waterproof GORE-TEX membrane is woven into the upper material, making it softer and more flexible than a traditional bootie membrane while keeping our feet dry and comfortable in wet weather.
