The Marmot Helium Sleeping Bag dials up the warmth while dialing down the weight, thanks to its use of premium materials. That starts with 800-fill goose down that´s been treated with Down Defender to make it more weather resistant and to protect its loft for long-term insulation. We also like the Pertex Quantum fabric for a light but rip-resistant finish that helps keep the Helium´s weight hovering around two pounds. The mummy shape also sheds a few grams while holding in more heat, along with the insulated draft tube and Nautilus Multi-Baffle Hood. This bag packs down small and doesn´t weigh us down when we´re backpacking or mountaineering.
