The Petzl IKO Core Headlamp is hyperlight and extremely packable so you can take it on alpine treks, rock or ice climbs, trail runs, or easy-going camping trips. Its AirFit headband is semi-rigid and packs small, and the rear, rechargeable Core battery boasts up to 100 hours burn time. Despite its ultralight, minimalist-minded design, the LEDs pack a blindingly 500 lumen power, and it can adjust via one singe button for easy use. There are locking functions so the headlamp doesn´t turn on in your pack. Petzl included a clever storage pouch that transforms the headlamp into a lantern for the alpine bivvy.
