We like the Lamson Remix S-Series Fly Reel for its versatility and value. A hybrid that balances quality and savings, the Lamson Remix S reel has combined a machined aluminum case with a pressure cast aluminum spool and the new S Series spools (which are also compatible with the Liquid S reel). Compared to its predecessor, the new Remix S has a bigger arbor, greater strength, and larger drag knob. For about the price of one reel and spool, this item includes one reel and two spare spools in a nylon carrying case. That lets us carry multiple fly lines to mix and match for the specific presentations we´re using and the specific waters we´re fishing.
